Song:  Riddles In The Dark
About:  From the northern banks of the Mississippi come the progressive blues rockers Porno Wolves. Releasing their debut album Shine LIke Gold in 2015 the Porno Wolves have put themselves on the map in the Minneapolis music scene. Album highlights include “Hot Boyz” and “Moonshine”, the later described by Barb Abney as “a trippy, acid-rock number that features Ryan Bachman’s hypnotic, Robert Plant-esque vocals layered over chunky guitar licks and a driving beat.” Following its release the group relentlessly booked shows in the Twin Cities circuit and developed a live presence. Their feet soaking, Porno Wolves skipped the studio and recorded their second album live to capture their “concoction of grunge, sex appeal, and a whole lot of sound” as described by Music Connection Magazine. The release of Young Moon Rising: Live in June 2016 was met with a positive response, securing live in studio interviews, showcase gigs and a reputation for the skill of their craft. With no shortage of creative energy this band is heading back to the studio this winter for their third release with intentions of touring in support.

The Porno Wolves began as the brainchild of lead singer and guitarist Ryan Bachman. Joined by bassist Shea Drenkow in 2014 and later by former Japhies drummer Anthony Gore and rhythm guitarist/saxophonist Steven Schwartz.

This band is not your ordinary band, they are truly talented. And unlike some bands that make a hit and die off they have actually produced better music in the last two years. And might I add they are all very musically talented and study.
